Anyone? Walter Bishop?
I surmise my habit of re-watching series is a little bit, too often, than most others. To name a few, I might have watched the whole Harry Potter 5 times?! Mummy 6 times? and maybe Fringe 3 times. That says, a lot of my free time is spent on either A/ swimming in the reverie of the dramatic world less dramatic than the real one ( to an extent that I can speak parseltongue or Egyptian simultaneously as the actors) or B/ learning new things from the old.
Learning new things from the old, for sure.
If you are not convinced, try to ask anyone what they think about my wardrobe. Why surprised with the girl who hasn’t even watched Titanic, or James Bond, or Avatar, at the absence of must-have items, like leather jackets (still), and blazers (just got it a week ago), and denim jackets (just got it a month ago), while giving the perfect illusion of unlimited new clothes through re-visiting. Let’s face it, Your Majesty Anna Wintour also wears the same dress for 20 times and keeps the repetition under the radar, same as Kate Middleton, who, however, does it publicly and encouragingly.
You see, I am totally sane. For one thing, no one is actually fishing for my choices of outfit on a daily basis, if not, ever, unless my name is Kylie. So, lest be spotted by the unintentional audience whom I have lost count of the times I repeat the dress in front of, layering it up with classics, lace and fringes, is just enough to redirect the attention. Speaking of which, since we are here at the fringe division, I think I will just quickly show you the tassel heels of mine, given by a close friend, and now becomes a new member of the collection.
To have a Narnia wardrobe? Easy.
